About Corey

Hello, my name is Corey! I've had experience teaching kids from age 3 to 17. I spent 3 years teaching English in South Korea which ignited my love for being a part of kids worlds! I find their energy, curiosity, and sillyness so invigorating. I was a kid who read a lot and played outside a lot, and I plan to reflect those values in my childcare jobs :) I also taught at a Montessori school for a year and love guiding children to get in touch with their own independence and creativity! Some of my strengths as a caregiver are a laid-back vibe, passion for the outdoors, being in touch with my silly side, and a passion for music. I'm also studying to be a social worker so I have a lot of knowledge about fostering healthy socio-emotional skills. I look forward to working with you and your family!
