About Cristina
Experience: 7 yrs
My approach to pet sitting is heavily informed by my time working within animal shelter environments. Shelters are dynamic, fast-paced spaces that require caregivers to be highly adaptable, observant, and resilient. This experience provided me with hands-on training that goes far beyond standard pet care. In the shelter system, I learned how to interact safely and effectively with animals under stress, those showing signs of fear, and those with boundless, high-energy personalities. I have managed dogs pulling on leashes, cats hesitant to trust new faces, and delicate small animals requiring gentle, precise handling. This background means I do not panic in unexpected situations. Instead, I bring a calm, grounded presence to your home, ensuring your pets feel secure and stable even when their primary routines are temporarily disrupted. 9
