I began babysitting for friends and neighbors when I was about 12 years old. I watched my niece and nephew for three summers when they were infants to 5 years old. I was a respite foster care worker for the state of Colorado for 15 years. I provided drop-in daycare for foster children while the foster parents were attending trainings, classes, vacations, etc. I provided a safe environment, meals, activities, distributed medications, and transported the children to appointments and parental visits. I also have two children of my own, age 20 yrs and 17 yrs. My second child was premature and required special care. I am familiar with special needs children and am very attentive. I have been a nanny for the last 2. 5 years for a family who have 2 children under 3 years.
