I have been a certified teacher for 12 years. I have previously taught grades 7 and 8. Currently, I teach 5th grade (since 2017). Additionally, I have experience working with younger children during high school and college, teaching Sunday School, working and volunteering as Big Sisters. I have hobbies that I would enjoy sharing with the children I work with: being outdoors (gardening, walks, hiking), board games, crafts, etc. I will also enjoy getting to know each child I work with, learning about their hobbies and interests. I was attracted to Care. com because I am looking to earn extra cash, but without the commitment of a second part-time job. My availability matches a school schedule and school breaks, however I do have two dogs to consider when making arrangements.
