About Curtis

Hello! My name is Curtis, but I prefer to be called "Deréon" and I am a 20-year-old passionate about childcare. I was attending the Savannah College of Art & Design for dramatic writing, but due to financial challenges, I had to pause my studies. During this time, my sister offered me a paid job babysitting her sons, my nephews. This experience, which lasted about a year, made me realize that my next goal could be in childcare. I loved looking after my nephews, who were six and 7 years old. I managed bedtime routines, engaged them in fun and educational activities, and ensured their safety. This opportunity helped me develop strong caregiving skills and ignited my love for working with children. I am dedicated, responsible, and patient, always striving to create a supportive and nurturing environment for kids. I look forward to bringing my experience and enthusiasm to your family.
