About Cynthia

To introduce myself, my name is Cynthia and I lived and worked as a Nanny in Hawaii from 2011 to 2025. I returned to California when Hawaii's cost of living increased and became unmanageable. I have 15 years of experience with newborns, infants, toddlers and older kiddos. After raising 3 of my 8-grand-children from birth to kindergarten age in California while parents completed their education and I completed my career in academia, I moved to Hawaii. I worked with families with children including preemies and twins and was complemented for my nurturing manner, communication with parents, patience, knowledge of childcare, and assisting families with keeping little ones on track with their developmental goals. I enjoy providing nature walks, music, and creative fun play. I am CPR/First Aid certified and fully vaccinated. I am also experienced with sleep training newborns and willing to provide overnight care and supervision. References will be provided.
