Hello! I was a live-in nanny for over 7yrs responsible for a household of 4. Duties included shopping, cooking & serving meals, light housekeeping, laundry, errands, doctor's appts, medication admin, and other tasks. Next, I decided to move forward focusing on elder care. I currently am a companion to an 81yr old woman with dementia & my hours are variable having decreased now that she is settled in a memory care facility. Basically my schedule is flexible! I am friendly, compassionate, and devoted to those I care for. I pay attention to detail, am a problem-solver, a great listener, and am loyal. I am reliable, patient, and kind with a gift for finding joy in the every day things. Elder care is definitely my niche! I am very blessed to be able to make a living doing something I love. I also have a full & rewarding personal life... enjoying time with family and friends plus my many hobbies and service commitments. A true "work life balance"!
