Hello, I am an active, healthy, retired critical care RN looking for a fun & fulfilling way to supplement my retirement. My background in healthcare, combined with the experience of raising three grown children, has equipped me with a deep understanding of child development, safety, and the importance of patience and kindness when caring for children. My primary goal in childcare work is to be a positive influential presence in the life of every child I care for. Over the past five years, I have provided part time childcare for my 2 grandchildren as well as the children of 2 other local families. I enjoy engaging with children, playing games, puzzles, etc. and encourage getting outside for fresh air and exercise. Families describe me as caring, reliable, positive , and possessing a good sense of humor I have an old-fashioned work ethic & will help with chores you prioritize that will help your life run more smoothly.
