I'd describe my personality as fun, positive, caring. I like caring for seniors because I would like to make their lives a little easier. I'm looking for a job that I can help, maybe with some household chores, maybe some shopping, take them to doctors appointments, play games and just be a companion. I started caring for seniors when I worked at the Windsor Place in Wilmington. MA as an activities assistant in the Assisted-living and Alzheimer units. In my spare time, I like to walk on the beach, ride my bike and kayak. I'm also an artist so I just love making arts & crafts. One thing you should know about me is I am comfortable doing all companion type things but I'm not a nurse so I cannot do certain duties. As an activities assistant we also did some mild exercises such as simply rolling shoulders, hands and ankles. Gentle neck exercises and leg lifts. I loved the bingo games and the sing a longs. My skills include listening, showing care and comfort and fun.
