Thank you for reviewing my posting. I am seeking a companion/caregiver position and welcome the opportunity to explore the possibility of filling that need for your loved one. More than 6 years ago when I began caregiving, I filled the role of caregiver to a gentleman suffering from early onset Alzheimer's. My responsibilities included companionship, meal preparation, medication dispensing, bathing, dressing, and all aspects of day-to-day living. I held that position for over 1 year. Since then, I have provided similar services to a gentleman suffering from cancer, multiple positions caring for numerous clients with dementia, blindness and general healthcare issues experienced by seniors. Additionally, I was one of my mother's primary caregivers during her battle with cancer. I am more than happy to provide light housekeeping and transportation services as needed.
