Damaris met us at the hospital during a family emergency when we unexpectedly had to take our dog to the emergency vet on a Saturday morning. She stepped in immediately—taking our almost two-year-old son home, caring for him, and feeding him with very little instruction and no preparation on our part. We are so grateful to her for taking such wonderful care of our son during such a stressful and chaotic time. Every time she came back to babysit, our son’s face would absolutely light up when he saw her. We sadly moved away and can’t call on her anymore, but we truly loved the times she babysat for us and are so thankful for her help when we needed it most.
