About Dana

Hello! My name is Dana. I am a 44-year-old mom and caring for children has been one of the most rewarding parts of my life. With over 25 years of childcare experience, I have had the privilege of working with children of all ages from newborns and toddlers to teenagers, both a nanny and a special education paraprofessional. For the past 10 years, I've worked in an elementary school supporting children with special needs (autism/learning disabilities/behavioral issues) and during the summer I work with special needs teens and adults. Before working in the school setting, I spent many years as a nanny, caring for families with as many as six children at a time, some as young as 3 days old. I am a hard working, caring, empathetic and outgoing. I love animals, so I am absolutely comfortable working in a home with any type of pets. Having raised 4 kids of my own I bring a strong and extensive background both personal and professional caring for children of all ages and backgrounds. Thanks!
