About Danica

Hello everyone! My name is Danica, and I am an early childhood educator and provider looking to support families in the Ojai and Ventura areas. I have been studying early childhood education and working with children for over five years. I hold an honorary bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Studies from Cal State Channel Islands. I have experience working with children from birth to age 8 and am certified in CPR, BLS, and First Aid. I align my approach with the values and strategies of R. I. E. (Resources for Infant Educarers) and Montessori-based learning and caregiving. I believe that the learning experiences we have during early childhood shape our worldview as we grow, and we carry these imprints into adulthood. This is why I focus on caring for and teaching children through thoughtful and intentional interactions and activities.
