About Danielle

Hello! I've worked in daycare, schools, community, and home-based models. I have experience working with youth with special needs, such as 1-on-1 support, social-emotional support and living skills. While it has been over 3 years since I worked in childcare full-time, I have worked for Messy Play Kits since 2022, as an on-call activity coordinator for art and sensory parties and workshops. My childcare philosophy is rooted in play-based and anti-bias/racist principles. I am well rounded in teaching the basic principles of math, science, social sciences, social-emotional skills for early childhood, and homework help for middle/older childhood. I lead with curiosity, alertness and silliness, while always finding opportunities for the littles to lead! I graduated from SJSU in 2023 with a BA in Child and Adolescent Development, with a specialization in Early Childhood and minor in Special Education, with honors.
