About Danielle

I've been babysitting since I was 16, and assisted an au pair twice a week caring for three girls, including twins. My responsibilities included feeding, bathing, playing with, supervising the children, and assisting with physical therapy exercises for the twins. Growing up with a cousin with autism taught me patience and compassion, which I later built on as an ABA therapist. I'm CPR and First Aid certified and have several years of experience caring for both children and older adults. I worked as a nursing assistant on a hospice unit and spent a summer on a psychiatric unit. In assisted living, I planned daily activities and outings for residents with cognitive decline. I also have experience caring for children with Type 1 diabetes and am comfortable supporting children with medical or special needs. I also have 3 years experience in case management. I am very comfortable working with families and meeting them where they are. Much of that experience has been working with veterans.
