Hi! My name is Danielle, and I'm a licensed early childhood educator with a B. S. in Early Childhood Education from Salisbury University. Most recently, I taught Kindergarten with Montgomery County Public Schools, where I gained extensive experience supporting young learners in reading, phonics, writing, math, and social-emotional development. In addition to my classroom teaching experience, I have more than 10 years of experience working with children in a variety of settings. Before becoming an elementary school teacher, I spent several years as a lead toddler teacher and completed student-teaching in Pre-K-1st grade. I am also CPR certified and have experience caring for children of different ages. I am primarily looking to connect with families seeking tutoring or educational support, but I am also open to occasional babysitting, date nights, and weekend childcare when my schedule allows. Ms. Danielle cared for my two young boys (almost 4 and almost 2) over the summer, and I truly can’t recommend her highly enough. She’s absolutely wonderful - the sweetest, kindest presence to have in your home and around your children. She’s incredibly trustworthy and safety-minded, which gave me such peace of mind. Beyond that, she genuinely cares, not just in a general sense, but in the way a true educator or nurturer does. She has that special spark that makes kids feel seen, understood, and celebrated for who they are. She took time to learn about each of my boys and built a real connection with them. We would welcome her back in a heartbeat, in fact, I’m already trying to lock her down for next summer! If you have the opportunity to work with Danielle, take it. She’s a gem.
