I have 14 years of experience in special education, 21 years of experience being a mom to children with autistism, and am a person with autism myself. I have a total of 35 years caring for children, with many being children with excetionalities. I have a lot of first-hand experience with medical needs, including limited mobility, g and/or j tubes, picc lines, and ostomys. I have experience with autism with severe behaviors, downs syndrome, adhd, cerebal palsy, brain injury, hemophilia, cystic fibrosis, and more. I thrive working with children. I find honest joy and fulfillment in my work. I believe that play is learning, & that behavior is communication. I am working towards becoming an autism specialist & special education teacher. I love animals and plants and enjoy turning everyday moments into learning opportunities and beautiful memories.
