Hello! As a caregiver, I believe that nurturing and safety are the two most important ingredients, but it is also essential to really listen to parents and let their goals guide my time with their children. I have a Masters in Teaching and have retired early from the classroom, but I am not ready to stop working with children. I have worked with kiddos all my life- beginning with multiple camp counselor positions, then leading vacation Bible school groups, volunteering in the church's infant room, and eventually being a weekly youth leader for preschoolers. When my children were young, I did infant and preschool care in my home. I also do not mind cleaning up after my charges, running a load of laundry, or emptying the dishwasher. I can work up to 40 hours a week on a set schedule Mon -Fri. I've recently been recertified in CPR (including child and infant training ) and I have professional references available.
