About Dan

Hello! My name is Dan. I have 7+ years of experience in childcare and education including my role as a lead summer camp counselor for 5 years and working as a 1st grade teacher for multiple years in the local school district. Most of my experience is with elementary school aged children, specifically K-2. I also have experience with babies, toddlers, and have taught at the high school level. I love sports, being outside, creative activities, singing, dancing, board games, etc. My goal is to always be a positive role model for the youth. In my experience, I know that working with children can and should be both fun as well as a great opportunity to learn. I believe in setting clear expectations and following through on those expectations helps create meaningful relationships! I am open to one-time jobs and recurring care-giving opportunities.
