*cat allergy, but am willing to be around other animals* While teaching for more than three years, I have an exstensive background caring for children, adults with disabilities, and have over 2 years experience caring for elderly. During my time as a babysitter / Nanny I prepared meals, organized fun activities, assisted with homework, provided transportation, and guided children to use functional communication skills. Some children I provided care for had special needs and needed mobility, feeding, and hygiene assistance. When attending adults and elderly my tasks included mobility assistance, meal preparation, companionship, hygienic care, bathing, light housekeeping, and medication administration/reminders. When working with individuals suffering from dementia, I helped to keep them calm and reassure them when their memories failed them.
