About Darien

Hey there! My name is Darien and I'm a 28-year-old Indy native. I've been working at one of Indy's best brunch restaurants for the last few years and am seeking a part time opportunity to work with kids again :) I've always enjoyed how fully present, innocent, curious, and whimsical children are. I also recognize how important it is in those formative years for children to feel seen, safe, and supported. I take pride in doing my best to cultivate that for the young minds/hearts around me. I'm looking for a part time position that I hope to sustain long term so a comforting relationship can be fostered for all involved. I started working with kids when I was 12 (babysitting for family/friends) and continued to do so for many years afterwards which is how I've been able to gain experience with all ages. In my spare time, you can often find me appreciating Mother Nature, practicing yoga, playing card games with friends, hanging with my golden retriever, or crocheting :)
