About Darla Kiersten

Hi, I'm a 26y/o nursing graduate preparing to take the NCLEX. I am CPR/BLS certified! I've been described as cheerful/upbeat, warm, & empathetic. I love working with kids because I find it fun and fulfilling - it's a job that doesn't feel like a job! I'm looking for an opportunity that will allow me to make meaningful connections and leave me with something to learn (big or small) so that I can continue to grow, not only as a professional, but also as an individual. I started first working with kids when family friends needed a babysitter - from there, I worked with neurodivergent children who are on the spectrum and/or have other emotional & developmental disabilities via ABA therapy. (I am a behavioral interventionist) In my spare time, I like to read, play video games, cook/bake, hang out with friends over brunch, & go to the gym.
