About Darlene

My daughter hired Darlene in April 2022 when she was seeking care for her two year old daughter, my granddaughter. After unsuccessful experiences with two young ladies, my daughter hired Darlene who has been like a part of our family for four years. Our son had taken a year off in 2020 during to sit with our baby girl. We were fortunate to have a family member step in, but he had to go back to work. Darlene came to our family and has been loving, engaged, and attentive, providing not only warmth in her care but a stimulating educational environment through reading, crafts, and, this past school year, help with homework and carpooling. She has always put our granddaughter's needs first and has been flexible in her schedule and willing to come to care for her during sickness when missing work wasn't an option for my daughter, a business owner. Darlene has also cleaned house, cooked and done laundry. We have been so pleased with Darlene and hope as less nanny time is needed for our girl as she grows up, she will remain a friend and part of our family.
