We are thrilled to share our experience with Darlin, who has been an integral part of our family since our daughter was just 4 months old. Now, at 2 years and 6 months, we can confidently say that Darlin is not just a nanny; she is a cherished member of our family. After interviewing several candidates from care.com, Darlin stood out as the most experienced, caring, and knowledgeable nanny. Her background as an Au Pair truly shines through in her interactions with our daughter. They have developed a beautiful bond, and it’s heartwarming to see them together—it's clear they are great friends! Darlin is always punctual and communicates effectively, ensuring that our daughter's well-being is always her top priority. One of the reasons we specifically chose Darlin as our long-term nanny is her fluency in Spanish, which is our native language. Her excellent English skills complement this, and we credit our daughter's extensive vocabulary in Spanish to Darlin's constant engagement and conversation with her. We also appreciate how Darlin has won over our old, grumpy dog, who adores her just as much as we do! Now, here’s the scoop: Darlin has informed us that she is looking for babysitting work on weekends to earn some extra cash. While we fully support her entrepreneurial spirit, we can’t help but feel a little possessive! So, if you’re reading this and thinking about hiring her during the week, just know that you’ll have to deal with us first—consider this a friendly warning! We might even unleash our grumpy dog, who has been known to give the stink eye to strangers. But fear not! If you’re looking for weekend help, Darlin is your girl! Just remember, we’re keeping her safe and sound from Monday to Thursday! Any family would be incredibly lucky to have Darlin looking after their little one.
