About Dawn

I'd describe my personality as wise, caring and creative. I like working with kids because they make me laugh and wonder at the world. I'm looking for PT, same days/times. Happy to cook. Would like to spend quality time with up to 2 children going on adventures, learning something new, reading, or doing art. I started working with kids in my 20s teaching catechism at the church. I have raised three boys to responsible adulthood. I began my second career / my dream job as an art teacher three years ago. In my spare time, I like to go to the beach, paint / craft, go to the art center / museum, / CC events / farmers market, cook / bake, walk in park, bike ride. One thing you should know about me is I keep my word; you can rely on me. Your children will be in safe hands and I will guard them and care for them like I did my own. My skills include being able to distract a cranky child, anticipate a child's needs, and establish mutually respectful communication.
