Hello, My career of care giving began 15 yrs, ago. My Uncle had dementia, I helped him with meds, cleaning, Drs, appts, shopping ect... Following his passing, I began working for a woman that was recovering from a liver transplant. Helping her shower, meds, cleaning, transportation and anything else she needed to help her on her road to recovering. As time went on we became very good friends. Well 13 years later, due to medical issues, she moved in with a family member, and no longer needed me. I miss my friend, and hoping to help someone else and create a good friendship as well. I hired Dawn 2 years ago, through the recommendation of a friend, to care for my uncle John. Dawn is compassionate, reliable, genuine and trustworthy. She not only took him to Dr's appointment, did housekeeping/laundry, made sure he took his meds and bathed, but more importantly she was a friend and a companion to my uncle. Uncle John always looked forward to the days that Dawn would come to his house. Unfortunately, my uncle John had to be placed in Assisted Living as his health declined. Although Dawn did not work for John any longer, she still went to visit him. Sadly, John passed away and yes Dawn was there for his service. Given Dawn's outstanding qualifications I would highly recommend her as a care giver to your loved ones. Linda
