I have been a loving caretaker for children for over 20 years. I started at 8 years old as my mother's little helper caring for my younger brothers. Since then, I have cared for children of all ages. I love spending time with children. They have such a free spirit and not a care in the world. They are a great reminder how we all should be child-like and enjoy this blessed life that we have been given. I am patient, kind, loving, reliable and fun!. I just love being in the presence of children and feel that it is fun and not just work. I am very health conscious and love the children I care for to be active and to eat healthy. I love to cook and prepare meals and fun treats to have kids eat healthy without them realizing it. Nutrition is a key role in children's behavior and I love to incorporate that into the children's lifestyle. I feel it is important to keep them active as well as keeping their brains active with lots of reading, puzzles, games, outdoor fun and more.
