I've learned patience on a deeper level, compassion with without limits, and how powerful simple moments can be- a smile, a hand squeeze, a moment of clarity. Every person I've cared for has taught me something: resilience, dignity and the importance of meeting people right where they are. It's not always easy, but it is always meaningful.
