About Deborah

In addition to raising 4 children of my own, I have over 25 years of working with children. I began with Berea City School in the Before and After Care Program. I eventually moved into an Intervention Associate position in the Preschool program. I spent 15 years in this program working with both typically developed and neurodivergent children. I am currently working with middle school children on the Autism Spectrum. I really loved working as a nanny and families. I enjoy working with the parents, supporting the physical, emotional, and developmental of their child/children. My approach is focusing on positive reinforcement and guidence. I believe most learning happens through play. I am patient and loving, along with being flexible. I feel I would fit best with a family that is looking for someone to fill a grandmotherly role.
