About Deborah

Hello! I just moved to Burbank! I am a retired Early Childhood Special Education Teacher, and grandmother to a fifth grader! I have a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Special Education. I have taught in preschool classrooms, infant and toddler classrooms that included home visits, and at the graduate university level in Special Education over my career. I simply love kids and would love to care for yours! Since Covid times, I've been working as a nanny. I choose to work part time, but hours can be flexible. The families I have worked for had babies that were 6 months old when I started with them. One was a set of twins! I use music and rhythms constantly when I'm caring for the wee ones, in addition to positive behavior supports. I consistently narrate their play as well.
