I currently care for a sweet elderly woman in her home. We do different activities and look up historical events and read stories. I also use music from their era and we enjoy looking back in time! I prepare healthy fresh meals based on what is provided, and I try to make each meal a fun dining experience. I often ask if they would like to have the meal in the main dining area, or the casual cafe, I like making them feel special. I am very efficient in keeping the sleeping area/bedroom, bathroom and main area clean and tidy. I have not had much experience in bathing, I make sure all Rx's are administered and assist in dressing. I'm a hard worker, reliable and understand how important it is to support the family of an elderly family member.
