About Deborah

I have been a mother and godmother for over 20 years. I have worked with children at 2 different child care centers both located in Newark, NJ for over 20 years. I have worked with newborns, infants, toddlers, and preschool. My duties have included changing diapers, preparation of meals, toilet training, cleaning up and disinfecting play and eating areas. I have also assisted in playing games and activities with the children. I am the mother of 2 daughters ages 16 and 20. I believe that children should have freedom of expression but also have boundaries. I also feel that children should be respected as adults because they are little people. I enjoy watching children grow and nurture into responsible adults. I also believe in the African proverb that it takes an entire village to raise a child.
