I am a Certified Nursing Assistant licensed by the state of Florida, which includes a Level II background check. I have been a full-time time caregiver for the last 9 years. My duties have included assistance with bathing, dressing, personal care, transportation, meal preparation and household purchases. I have scheduled medical appointments and coordinated schedules for up to six caregivers at a time. I have been responsible for patient's medications, including ordering refills and dispensing weekly pill supplies. I've have worked with Hospice nurses and social workers as part of my patient's care. I am experienced in working both day and overnight shifts. In a difficult time of transition in Dad's life, she was able to help both he and his wife cope with all the changes, by being a steady presence in their life; someone they could trust and lean on. Debbie also filled in other schedules when there were unexpected holes. If it was possible, she would be there because work for her was not just a job; it was taking care of a person to the best of her ability.
