I'd describe my personality as upbeat, outgoing, positive! I respect the wisdom that comes from senior's experiences and relish my time spent with those I can learn from. I'm looking for a job that allows me to be a helping hand while still allowing the senior to maintain their dignity and be as independent as is safely possible. I started caring for seniors when my disabled daughter reached adulthood. A caregiver that loves people more than a paycheck is a rarity. In my spare time, I like to thrift and antique shop, read, and craft. Reading out loud is my specialty! One thing you should know about me is that I believe there is good in every situation, person, and experience, and laughter is the best medicine! I enjoy helping seniors with technology and creatively coming up with activities to engage conversation and movement.
