About Denae

Hi! I am a 35-year-old female currently in a dual masters program for Clinical Counseling and Marriage Family Therapy. I am currently seeking a nanny position nearby while I am in school. I currently go to school in the evenings and work Monday and Wednesdays as Mental Health Specialist at a local Jr. High. For 15 years I worked with younglings and teens in the foster care system. From creating independent living programs to 1:1 mentorships while children adjusted to new homes to running the Recreational Therapy department for a long term group home for teens. The last two years, while I've been in my graduate grogram, I have been blessed to be a nanny for the cutest 5-year-old boy and his 11-year-old sister in Orange County for the last two years. He is now starting Kindergarten and I am seeking a job closer to home. I spend my free time surfing, yoga, camping, hiking, crosswords, reading, dancing, exploring and visiting with those I love.
