About Denise

For years I've found joy in supporting families through childcare and eldercare, especially after having been a past federal government worker and mom of four with a busy commute for over 20 yrs and a family caregiver to several elderly and ailing family members. My previous babysitting experiences showed me the positive impact a reliable caregiver can have. I am patient, calm, friendly, and approachable. I follow the parents' lead when being on task with household rules. I also follow their preferred communication method regarding their child's day. I enjoy playing educational games that promote learning. I have experience with special needs children. I am comfortable caring for one child at a time. I have SOME COLLEGE. I also have a car and am comfortable with pets. I am CPR and First Aid certified and have years of experience working with those who need extra patience due to dementia and mobility needs.
