About Denise

Hi!! I'm Denise, and I recently graduated from the University of Tennessee with a bachelor's in kinesiology (health, nutrition, etc). I was a pediatric dental hygienist, I'm in between offices and looking for short term. I start my next office November 1st! I began babysitting when I was 13 with my special needs cousin, until I left for college. Then, a babysitter for my newborn nephew on my weekends home and during the summer. I started working at National Fitness Center in childcare with children ages 6 weeks-12 years for 2 years. To be closer to my apartment, I took a position as an assistant teacher with Shades Development. I was certified through Knox County Schools working with ages 3-15. I nannied full-time a 2-year-old and sometimes a newborn baby full-time during summer of 2019. I would watch a 2-year-old and 9-month-old on occasional date nights. Before COVID, I was a full-time nanny to 14-month-old twins for 8 months. I worked 45 hours a week at this job providing care.
