I am looking for a pt nanny position in or around Wakefield MA. I am currently a nanny for a 1 and 3-year-old and I have been with them for 3 years now. I also worked as a nanny for a 9-month-old boy before them. ( and still help the family out as he is in school now) I am a Certified Infant/Toddler Teacher(8 years) and am a mom to 3 kids, so I have tons of experience! I am college educated and prior to having children worked as a Certified Occupational Therapy Asst. I'm looking for a pt nanny position. I am loving, attentive, caring, compassionate, fun, energetic, dependable, understanding and will LOVE your child as if they were my own. I can provide lots of developmentally age appropriate activities for all ages and will keep your child safe, loved, happy, and engaged while watching them.( and of course playing with them and having so much fun!!! ) I am CPR/First aid certified. Denise was a nanny for my son from ages ~9 months (summer of 2021) to ~21 months (summer of 2022, when he started daycare), and continues to help out with my son (turning 5 this week) on occasion when we need weekend/ad hoc support. Looking for childcare during a global pandemic was terrifying, and we were very nervous trusting a nanny, but Denise far exceeded our expectations in every way. Every day, Denise would bring crafts, new engaging, educational, and age-appropriate activities (she is WAY more creative than I am!), and my son learned so much from her. Denise is also incredibly energetic, and was always eager to take my son in the stroller to one of our local parks and actively play with him (not just sit on a bench). When my son was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes in 2023, Denise fearlessly learned how to watch his blood sugars and even administer insulin through my son's insulin pump. While we've had a handful of babysitters in the past, Denise is the only caregiver who we've truly trusted with my son's diabetes. Denise has become part of our family, and I would literally have her move in with us and bring her on every vacation if I could! There were so many tears on her last official day with us (even knowing she would still be available to help us on occasion), but it was time for my son to start socializing with other kids in a daycare setting. My son ADORES her, and still shrieks with joy whenever I tell him that Denise is coming over!
