About Denise

I am a licensed foster care parent for the state of North Carolina. I am certified in child and adult CPR as well as basic first aid. I'm also an experienced mother of 19 years. I'd describe my personality as calm, peaceful, and encouraging. I like working with kids because they are little sponges soaking up the world around them. I'm looking for a job that will allow me to focus on the care of your child but also support you, the parent. I started working with kids when I was about 14 years old. In my spare time, I like to be outside on a nature hike. One thing you should know about me is I love interacting with people and getting to know them but I prefer to remain focused on the tasks of my job. My skills include teaching language skills and independence while providing emotional nurture.
