Hello! My name is Denise. I am a mom of two adult sons. I love children and spending time with them. I have over 30 yrs experience with children of all ages. I had a very successful in home daycare years ago and kept 7 children a day. Also, I have worked at a daycare as a 2-year-old classroom teacher with being responsible for 10 children at a time on my own. I have experience with mild Asperger's, full autism, ADHD, ADD, oppositional defiance and sensory processing disorder along with 14 years of learning thru a behavior specialist we had for our son in our home. I love teaching children through a structured playtime. I believe children thrive in a structured environment along with learning new things on a daily basis! I love to be active and outside taking walks, etc! I also love taking children to museums, the library or any activity. I will do light housekeeping, laundry and care for pets. I drive a 2021 Honda accord 4 door.

Denise was a LIFESAVER when I was going back to work after having my first baby. She watched our baby when she was just 4 months old and was kind and patient while we worked out all of the little kinks of leaving our baby girl for the first time. She never hesitated to hold our baby when she wouldn't nap and truly cared about her. I know our daughter misses her already and misses their long walks and play days together!

From our very first interaction, Mrs. Denise was incredibly comforting and easy to talk to. She came out the very next day for an onsite interview, connected with us right away, and even took the time to chat with the kids during that first meeting.

She came to sit for us within the week, and we asked for engagement — that’s exactly what we got. She played games with the kids, helped guide them through their bedtime routine (brushing, prayer, and settling in), and did quiet walkthroughs upstairs through the night to make sure everyone was okay. Once the kids were down, she rested on the couch and even tidied up the kitchen and counters without us asking.

Our 11‑year‑old did mention she was very engaged — which, honestly, is perfect for us. Preteens can be funny like that.

We will definitely be using Mrs. Denise again. She’s warm, dependable, and truly cares about the kids in her care.

Denise is hands down the best sitter you can have for your children. She’s kind, enthusiastic, has tons of energy, and loves on your kids like they were hers. She’s mindful of safety, special diets/supplements, and makes sure they get plenty of outside exercise. The true test is that my kids shout and run to her as soon as she’s at our door. We love her so much! 
We have had the privilege of knowing her for almost 3 years now, and cannot recommend her highly enough!!

Denise made my son and me feel comfortable as soon as she came through the door. This was our first experience using care.com and finding a sitter that we didn't know. My son loved her right away. She was communicative and responsive while we were out. It was honestly the best experience and can't wait to use her again.

Our 5 year old is pretty shy, however she warmed up to Diane fairly quickly. She was prompt, and easy for our little one to chat with. We would welcome her back anytime.

Denise was great.  She asked all necessary questions to orient herself with our care expectations and checked-in as needed.

Denise was AWESOME. She has such a phenomenal personality. I legitimately felt like I was hiring a friend. My 10 year old son LOVED her and can't wait for my husband and I to leave again so we can book her haha! She's punctual, responsive and my dog loved her as well. 10/10 highly recommend!!!!

She was great with my little ones and they seemed to really enjoy their time with her.
