I have been working with Senior clients with dementia and other medical/health conditions for 7 years. In addition to health care needs, I offer companionship. I have been responsible for bathing assistance, grooming and dressing assistance, mobility assistance, assistance with transfers, preparation of and serving meals, medicine preparation and prompting, research specialists and coordination of medical appointments, transport to and from medical appointments and emergency room visits, assisting with physical and occupational therapy exercises, activities (in home and out of), shopping and light housecleaning. Experience with feeding tubes. Experience changing catheter bags, using PureWick system and condom catheters. I have served as an advocate to visit and speak with nurses/doctors when clients are in rehabilitation or inpatient hospitalization. I have worked with Hospice patients and work closely with Hospice to follow their protocols. CPR Certified Excellent References
