About Desiree

Hey there! I'm Desiree and I'm a graduate student at Pitt studying mechanical engineering. Outside of my school hours, I'd love to meet families and help out with kiddos or pets. Studying can be isolating, so some human interaction is a must for me. I'm hoping to establish a connection with one or two families here in Pittsburgh so I can still spend some time with kiddos while not overwhelming my school schedule. I have been dog-sitting, babysitting, housesitting and tutoring since high school! I have always had a genuine love for helping others so this site seems like the perfect fit In my free time, I love to go on long walks with my dog, cooking, gardening, and going rock climbing.
