About Destawny

I'd describe my personality as outgoing, bubbly, energetic I like working with kids because I have kids of my own, and I love helping others with theirs. I've worked with kids my entire adult life, in labor and delivery, postpartum, pediatrics, a daycare center, and in home childcare. Kids are so fun! I'm looking for a job that is reliable and works with my hours, that motivates me and makes me want to be better every day, that I look forward to showing up at. I started working with kids when I was 18, in labor and delivery. I was in the navy as a corpsman at the time, and was solely responsible for newborn babies. In my spare time, I like to play with my daughter and my animals, read, go to the park, and just make my home a good place to be. One thing you should know about me is I'm a navy veteran, who is passionate about being a good mom and a good worker. I have a strong work ethic and I can always be counted on. My skills include CPR, BLS, and neonatal resuscitation.
