About Destiny

Hi familes! I am a nanny with over 10 years of childcare experience including nannying, working with children with special needs, and helping raise my now 14-year-old sister! I've nannied children from newborn through middle school, with much of my experience with infants and toddlers, including several long-term positions beginning when the children were just 2-3 months old! I also previously worked for the DCYF in Child Protective Services and Child Welfare Services, which strengthened my skills in child development, safety, communication, and supporting children's emotional and physical needs. Educationally, I have earned my bachelor's degree in psychology and am currently pursuing my master's in clinical mental health counseling! I love working with kiddos and have a caregiving style that centers around patience, connection, curiosity, learning, and fun! I love reading, music, sensory play, outdoor activities, outings, and am always happy to help around the house as well!
