I am a mother of three, and as the oldest of my children, homemaking and caring for them in a household have been a part of my life forever. I hold a very high standard when it comes to caring for children, using actionable skills and child psychology to meet the children where they are. My preferred method is de-escalation and keeping children busy. I have never shouted at a child but always explained things to them quietly. Before becoming a stay-at-home mother, I worked at our local hospital in the intensive care unit as a nursing assistant. During this position, I learned a lot about safety, making quick judgments, and ensuring that I always had a clear view of any situation that might arise. I am now eager to bring my homemaking and caregiving skills to another family as a nanny, showering them with the same level of care and attention.
