Hello! While working many years as a theater professional, I studied Comparative Literature - literature through the lens of history, linguistics and other disciplines, in college. At the time I was also working towards a minor in history with a medieval studies certificate. I love medieval literature - King Arthur and Robin Hood, and have an affinity for history and civics education. If I had gotten my teacher's certificate, I would have wanted to teach Middle, and High School Social Studies. I worked for a few years at a major family history research library on the east coast. While there, I traced back my family through many generations, discovering an appreciation for what my ancestors faced in their lives, making me and my siblings who we are today. I love literature in all its forms, as it is a reflection of our human experience. I am currently training to be certified as an ESL teacher.
