About Dixie

I am a retired LPN, I worked in a SNF for 15 years. Geriatrics, Dementia , Alzheimer's, as well as post surgical patients were my daily assignments, rehab patients etc. I have experience and skills associated with this field. I also work in the community as a companion to the elderly. I provide whatever needs they have such as meal preparation, housekeeping, laundry, ADL'S, mobility and strengthening assistance, passive stretching exercises, etc. I raised a family of 4 and managed the household too. So many years of experience in the home and garden. I am quite capable of many things. While my hours of availability are documented I can make adjustments if needed. I am not interested in a full time position at this time but I can maybe fill in some hours or a few days and can assist in an emergency.
