About Dominic

Hello. My name is Dominic (pronounced Dominique) and I moved to Massachusetts in 2019 from Miami, FL. It was time for a new start away from the hustle and bustle of the city. I have been a generalized caregiver since my teens. I have experience with children of all ages, our seniors, and their pets. However, I have mostly worked with individuals with disabilities. This ranges from children with learning and developmental disabilities, adults with ABI, autism, down syndrome, and adults and elderly alike with physical handicaps (ie. amputees, etc), and dementia/alzheimer's. My son has special needs and has been diagnosed with several conditions. While he is now an adult, it was challenging when he was growing up. There were several moments where I had to drop everything to tend to a behavioral episode, some lasting significantly long.
