I have 15 years experience as a In Home Care as a Personal Care Giver for the Elderly. Duties: help clients with daily living and activities. Such as bathing, dressing, bathroom functions, grooming, feeding, preparing meals, taking medication, cleaning, laundry, errands, Dr. appointments, I have experience with the sick , injured, mentally, physically, disabled, alzheimer's dementia, cerebral palsy and bed ridden clients. As a compassionate and trustworthy individual, I believe that the work of a personal care assistant is truly rewarding from all aspects. I am aware of the challenges that working as an personal care assistant poses. Having looked after my elderly Mother suffering with dementia and other health issues, I am some what well versed in living up to the emotional and physical demands this work presents.
