About Doris

As a teacher (both public & Montessori) with 2 decades of experience, to say I'm passionate about assisting children in learning and growing in the best environment available to them, would be an understatement. As a reliable, patient, calm yet fun-loving person, I enjoy helping cultivate young lives and supporting growing families in whatever stage of child rearing they are currently in. I have grown to see first hand how early child development impacts lives. I believe one on one time is so crucial to their growing brains and only nourishes those secure bonds and non-anxious attachment styles. I most enjoy Montessori style, hands on, practical life skill learning, & spending lots of time outdoors(I live on over 100 acres where my kids spent most time outdoors as tots). I follow the parents' lead and preferred communication methods to ensure every child's needs are met. I'm excited about the prospect of caring for your growing child and look forward to getting to know your family.
